7. Watch the video/read the text and answer the following questions.

Superior vena cava This is the large vein that carries deoxygenated blood from the upper body to the right
atrium of the heart. It's located at the top of the heart, entering from the upper side.

- Aorta (base) The aorta emerges from the left ventricle and is the largest artery in the body. The base of
the aorta is the section closest to the heart’s left ventricle, from where the blood is pumped to the body.
Aorta (Arch) The aortic arch is the curved portion of the aorta. It comes after the base and before it descends
down the chest to supply blood to the head, neck, and arms.

Pulmonary trunk (base) This vessel carries deoxygenated blood from the right ventricle to the lungs. At its base,
it is connected to the right ventricle.

Pulmonary Trunk The pulmonary trunk extends from the right ventricle and splits into the left and right
pulmonary arteries, which carry blood to the lungs.

Left Pulmonary Arteries These arteries carry deoxygenated blood from the heart to the left lung. They are a
branch of the pulmonary trunk.

Right Pulmonary Arteries These arteries carry deoxygenated blood from the heart to the right lung, also
branching from the pulmonary trunk.

Left and Right Pulmonary Veins. When you can, highlight them here.
