This guide can be used in preparation for the D335 course. The general outline is:
OA Overview
A summarization of the Objective Assessment and the questions on it as detailed
by the WGU course instructors.
Course Videos
These videos cover the key ethical frameworks needed for the course. There is
also a playlist of videos that discuss the major laws.
Course Terms
The links on this page are for the course material book. The terms are all hosted
on Quizlet and are broken down by chapter.
Chapter(s)
Each chapter has the summary as listed in the course materials. *The summaries
are my recommended way to digest the information from the book.
Each chapter has a "Key Terms" page below it. These are the key terms and
definitions used to create the Quizlet and Anki flashcards.
Recommended Study Outline:
1. Review all summaries in the chapters of this notebook
2. Review each chapter term flashcards. I liked the "learn" feature of Quizlet
with the multiple choice only selections. Once I was scoring 90% consistently
on that I would use the "Test" feature and test myself on the terms. I would
recommend going back and doing another "Test" ever 2 chapters. Ex:
complete chp 1, 2, 3 terms, then go back to chapter 1 and review terms
again. Repeat this cycle until you are consistently scoring 90%on the "Test"
feature.
3. After you have completed all summaries and the terms, complete the "Study
Guide" question doc crated by the CI's.
4. Take the practice assessment once you have completed the study guide and
have studied all chapter terms at least once getting a 90% or higher on the
"Test" mode of Quizlet.
5. Review any deficient areas of the pre assessment. The book has end of
chapter quizzes that you can use to reinforce information from that chapter.

the PA.

Most of the OA is Scenario Based
Scenario Based Questions:
• Apply the frameworks and laws to a given scenario
• Frequently Involves Ethical Issues surround Data management.
Ethical/Legal Questions:
Analyze an individual or groups behavior in an IT setting.
You will need to find the problematic behavior
Is that behavior legal?
○ Does it break any laws and if so which ones?
Is the behavior ethical?
○ Are they behaving maliciously?
○ Would you be ok with an employee and or co-worker behaving like this?
