At Sheltair, a co-worker and I disagreed on how an unsatisfied customer was dealt
with. I decided to talk to my co-worker one on one to talk and resolve our dispute
in a peaceful manner. We both agreed that our goal was to keep the customer
happy and came to a compromise that consisted of both ideas.
Customer was: unhappy with fees at FBO
I wanted: to reduce fuel price only
They wanted: to reduce fees only
Result = the combination of both increased profit margins for the company and
made the customer feel like he was receiving a good discount.

- First of all, my name is Chris, I'm from Long Island, NY.
- My passion for Aviation started in 6th grade (helicopter ride to Niagara)
- I'm a enthusiastic people-person. My strong desire to serve others started
because of my father (FDNY)
,- Tried feeding this need by working in retail customer service jobs but this did not
feed my passion for flying, a piece was missing
- Never had a lot of money, didn't think I would ever get to fly. 9/11 scholarship, I
thought I was going to become a mechanic, and would be turning wrenches for
the rest of my life
- Started flight training with Dowling College to work on ratings and During
college, I Pursued a career in aviation and customer service by starting at an FBO
- This is when I was introduced to the military flying from a Police Helicopter pilot
(SCPD - Keany - invited to tour base)
- My full-time training requirement is complete with the military
- Which has led me to today and this interview, my desire to serve others and my
passion to fly is hopefully finally going to be met by flying with your team.

aircraft I flew had a Glass Cockpit. I will purchase the CRJ computer simulator and
use it at home if I find I am having trouble learning your aircraft.
