musical force. Bad Bunny, currently one of the most successful musicians whose lyrics
have highlighted political and social issues, says, ‘‘Here, our relationship with music
means everything”. For more than a century now, this country’s culture has been
exported not only to the United States but also to the rest of the world.
At a time of growing concerns about racism and social inequality, it is younger
generations who continue developing new sounds and rhythms as a result of
immigration and cultural exchange. These artists are making sure that they are
being heard.
