I will determine whether the curriculum met the problem of students being at many different skill and reading levels through the summative assessments students take each quarter. Studying these assessments will show me the growth of students throughout the school year. Students don’t always assess well so I will be keeping different materials from activities and lessons of struggling students throughout the year to have additional resources to observe. Making decisions about the curriculum will be considered by communicating with my coworkers along with administration during our weekly staff meetings and monthly grade level meetings. I will use this time to ensure I am executing and providing my students with the best possible education I can. Reflecting and making improvements will not only benefit the students but make me a stronger educator.
