we need to consider. One of them is a writer’s style of writing. In your own words,
explain 5 things you must look at when you are evaluating whether a writer’s style is
appropriate for your learners.

abstract, or simple? For young learners, it's essential to choose books with simple language
that they can easily understand and relate to.

to select books with shorter, more straightforward sentence structures.

organization can help maintain their attention and comprehension.
Narration Point of View
Pay attention to the narrative perspective used by the author. Is it a third-person narrator (he,
she, it), first-person narrator (I), omniscient point of view, or shifting point of view? For young
learners, a simple and consistent narrative perspective can aid in their understanding of the
story.
Tone
Consider the tone of the writing—is it formal, informal, humorous, serious, or ironic? The tone
should be appropriate for the age and maturity level of the young learners. Books with a light
