• Type your answers or write neatly and legibly, using an ink pen.
• If you add illustrations, they must also be done in ink pen.
• Scan all the pages in the correct order and upload them as one PDF document onto the
myUnisa platform.
• Save your PDF document as follows: module code, exam and student number (for example,
LSK3701 Exam 7321647). Do not include your name.
• Please ensure that you do not upload a read-only file since the online marking application
cannot mark read-only documents.
• Ensure that you upload your answer script within the prescribed timeframe.
• To upload your PDF document, access the myUnisa landing page and click on Exams
Login and Download my Exam Question Paper. Log in with your student number and
myUnisa password.
• Find the module code, LSK3701, and click on the link to submit your answer script. Take
note that the link will only be displayed if the examination session is still open.
• Read and accept the declaration of honesty when uploading your answer script.
• Note: To accept the declaration, you must tick the checkbox as part of the uploading
process.
• Then click on Continue to finalise the submission of your answer script.

INSTRUCTIONS REGARDING THE PROCTORING TOOL
The LSK3701 Exam is a closed book exam. You are not permitted to access any external resources or view
documents outside the invigilation app during the exam.
Instructions on the day of assessment/exam
• Ensure that you are connected to the internet to log into The Invigilator App and scan the QR code:
• If you encounter difficulty in scanning the QR code, you can alternatively enter the
Exam Access Code below the QR code to start the invigilation.
• Unless otherwise specified by your institution, note that you can only scan this QR code once. If
your assessment/exam has multiple online sections, tests or attempts, you should NOT finish the
invigilation until your entire assessment/exam has been completed.
• Only scan the QR code when the assessment/exam formally commences.
• The QR code is only scannable for a limited time, and it should therefore be scanned as
soon as possible to start the invigilation.
• Once the QR code is scanned, ensure that your media volume is turned up and place your
smartphone next to you. The Invigilator App will notify you with a notification beep when you are
required to action a request, which you should then perform.
• We recommend that you keep your smartphone on charge for the duration of the
assessment/exam.
• If you only have one device, you may access your assessment/exam in the application by pressing
the ‘Access Exam’ button in the top-right corner of your app.
• Keep The Invigilator App open on your cellphone for the full duration of the
assessment/exam. You are not allowed to minimise or leave the app.
• Ensure that you are connected to the internet to commence the invigilation as well as at the end of
the assessment. No internet connection is required during the assessment.
• You must follow, the assessment/exam time limit provided by your institution as the time
displayed in The Invigilator App may differ from the actual time allocated for the assessment/exam.
• You can click the “Finish Assessment” button in the app if you finish your assessment/exam early.
• If you are performing a written or Scan-and-Upload assessment:
• The Invigilator App may request you to take a picture of every page of your answer sheet at the end
of the assessment/exam. Unless otherwise specified by your institution, this does NOT
replace the normal upload of your script to your institution’s online portal.
• After completing invigilation and following all app instructions, you must upload your invigilation app
data. However, if there is a delay in uploading the app data at the end of the assessment/exam,
prioritise uploading your script to your university portal. You can temporarily minimise the app to do
this. Uploading app data is not time-sensitive; so, you can return and complete it after successfully
uploading your script to the exam portal.
