2. BLS AED demo video - check scene
notes - ask victim if they are okay
- tell someone to call 911
- put hand on forhead and two finger on lower jaw to tilt head back
- listening for breathing
- start CPR
- 30 compressions & 2 breaths, 5 cycles
- Someone get the AED

AED STEPS:
- Open AED box/bag
- Push the green button next to the '1'
- Look at the drawing on the pads to know the placements before putting on
victim
- Place pads on victim on their locations(look at image add)
- plug the cord to AED
- When machine says "don't touch the patient", say "clear" loud and clear to
have no one touch the patient
- Push orange button when machine tells you to
- Start compressions again 30:2 rate, 5 cycles
- repeat process until paramedics arrive or professional help




3. AED can be found in - Medical locations(hospitals, clinic, pharmacies, dentists, etc.)
- School in classrooms or main office
- Shopping malls usually in a box connected to the mall or in the security
office
