The ARTICLE which I have chosen is titled Human Resource Development
Review (HRDR).It is an international article focusing on theory development for scholars
and practitioners in human resource development and related disciplines. The article
was published on the 22th November 2019.
The article elaborates more on what it terms the Resource-Based View of strategy. It
places its emphases on the significance of core competencies as the critical basis for
sustainable competitive advantage. The organization used in this article is the
Greenlight group of companies
HRDR publishes high-quality conceptual work using non-empirical research methods.
The article is committed to advancing HRD by providing fresh theoretical insights, new
conceptual models, critical examination of literature, and multi-paradigm approaches to
theory building. The company used in the article is known as Greenlight group of
companies (Mikel. 2019). The company was urgently looking for well experience
individual who could fulfill the roles of training practitioners. Amongst their duties was to
come up with HRD objectives as well as policies. The incumbents would also ensure
that the HRD commitment, policies and activities are aligned with the company’s
objectives.
Furthermore, another core concept discussed in the article relates to roadmaps which
can be used by managers to function well in their scope of duties. The reason why
managers neglect some duties is because they are not aware of h ow it must be done
and also the correct procedures because they want to avoid their names being
associated with failures or misconducts.
