Situation:
This is Macy Harmon, a nurse on the labor, delivery, and recovery floor. I am
calling regarding Kelly Smith in room 918. I am calling because she appears to be
hemorrhaging, as she has golf ball-sized clots, bleeding through a peripad in under 30
minutes, her pulse and respirations are elevated, and blood pressure appears to be
dropping.
Background:
Patient Kelly Smith was admitted yesterday for a postdates induction at 41 weeks
