directed to our stockholders and board of directors following the first six quarts of our business
in the 3-D printed carbon fiber bicycle industry. This report shows all the functional areas of
Carbon Craft Bicycles to show our progression to profitability
This report breaks down our brand and includes specifics about our marketing and
target segments and decisions made along the way, which played a crucial role in building a
customer base, employee satisfaction, future capacity, and customer loyalty. This report also
helps show forecasting models based on past performance that shows room for industry
growth. That aligns with our mission and objectives within the industry.
B1: Corporate Strategic Thrusts
Certain aspects of our company have influenced financial and non-financial decisions. At
the start of Carbon Craft Bicycles, we identified that we were not starting this company for
short-term profits; instead, we wanted to focus on the long-term goal of building a solid

competitive position in the industry. We tried to remain cautious and make safer decisions to
avoid risk. We hoped to create superior customer value, have selective distribution, superior
manufacturing (high reliability and efficiency), and have strong asset management (productive
use of resources).
A financial decision that affected our strategic thrust was selective distribution. At
Carbon Craft, we chose to open only one store in the market for quarter 2 and to start the

building process in quarter 3 to open a second location in quarter 4. Focusing on building a solid
customer base and relationships with suppliers and distributors. Carbon Craft Bicycles started
by concentrating on Amsterdam, which had the highest demand for recreational bicycles and
the second highest demand for speed bicycles. Our secondary location, which opened in
quarter four, was New York City, which had the highest demand for speed bicycles and was
rated second in demand for recreational bicycles. Those are the main target segments of
Carbon Craft Bicycles. The conservative approach taken by Carbon Craft to build these
relationships with customers and suppliers limited our financial growth potential until later
quarters.
