Campaign backgrounds and objectives
El Rosa is a high street florist opening in the local area inside the mall. We will offer
customers with variety o different types of flowers as well as gifts for various occasions. The
name of the business that we have come up with is “EL Rosa”, which translates from
Spanish to “The Rose” in English. The name of the business is relevant to what the business
is about, a flower shop. The slogan that we came up with is “petals above the rest”. The
word “petals” relates to the flower shop. We are opening a new flower shop because we
believe there are not enough shops in the area and the ones that already exist are missing
one of the following things: quality, variety and freshness. The new flower shop will offer all
of these things, so customers will get what they want. The reason we are doing a
promotional campaign is to get the new business noticed, and help attract customers.
As a start-up, nobody would really know much about our business, so by creating a
promotional campaign, people will see and hear about it, and may be encouraged to have a
look at what we have to offer. Our campaign has to be created with our target market in
mind, so that we are targeting the right people that will be our potential customers. I think
using the full service agency would be the most beneficial to the new business. This is
because a full service agency would provide us a variety of different services for promotional
campaign; they will help us promote using social media, as well as create leaflets, advertise
on billboards and newspapers. A full service agency will also create website and take and
edit images for the promotional campaign
There are several objectives that we want to achieve by doing this campaign. Our first and
main objective is to create awareness of our business, because if people do not know about
our business, then we will not get any people interested. The objective is to increase brand
awareness by 20% before the end of the year. This is our main objective because this is new
business start-up, so not many people have heard of it yet. Our second objective is to
actually attract and encourage people to come to our business, gain about 20 customers in
the first month when we actually open our business. Because without actually getting any
customers, we will not be able to make sales and start making money, so this is the second
main objective we need to focus on. Our objective is also to inform people of the products
we will offer, to increase product awareness by 20% before the end of the campaign. Such
as information about them such as their price, the variety of flowers we will sell, the various
occasions we provide for, where we are based and how they can contact us. This is an
important objective if customers do not know much about our products, then they will not
be interested
Description of the product and services
The plan is to offer customers a variety of flowers such as bouquets, cut flowers, artificial
flowers and plants. These are the main products we will sell. To differentiate our business
from others, we will sell some hard to get flowers such as wild, tropical and exotic flowers,
as most local florist do not provide these, this will help us to attract customers. The plan is
to sell fresh flowers, so we are mostly focusing on growing them ourselves than buying from
wholesalers. We will provide flowers as well as other gifts for every occasion such as
