EXAMINATION – STUDY RESOURCES
This document is a combination of all the recommended AOA study resources (listed in the checklist below)
that any paraoptometric can utilize when preparing for a Commission on Paraoptometric Certification
(CPC) examination which are housed in AOA EyeLearn. The CPO study resources are not a prerequisite for
taking the paraoptometric certification examination given by the CPC. Using these study resources does not
guarantee passing the paraoptometric certification examination given by the CPC. However, these study
materials are created based on the most current CPC Exam Outline.
This resource is intended to be used in conjunction with all the CPO study materials that can be found on the
American Optometric Association (AOA) EyeLearn: Your Professional Development Hub. To access
EyeLearn, you will use your AOA login credentials. If you do not know your login credentials or need to
have a login created, please reach out to our Member Services Department ().
Please note, EyeLearn is a member benefit which means non-member paraoptometrics will be charged a fee
