interpreting information about the performance of learners using various forms of

assist learner’s development in order to improve the process of learning and
teaching.

1.5.1 This principle encourages learners to think outside the box and big, be
active learners rather than being passive learners. They are encouraged to
question, analyse what they are being taught and also to participate fully
during lessons.
1.5.2 Teachers need to adopt the technique of teaching and implementing
the learner-centred approach. This approach will effectively assist in
facilitating this principle, teachers need to allow learners to take charge of
their own learning by doing most of the work in class but be facilitated by the
educator.
