REPRODUCTIVE SYSTEM
By Samuel James
, OVERVIEW OF THE REPRODUCTIVE
SYSTEM
• The reproductive system involves both internal and external
organs in and on the male and female body.
• These organs specifically work together to allow procreation
to take place and is considered the most important bodily
system.
• The reason for this is that without procreation a species
would go extinct.
, MALE REPRODUCTIVE SYSTEM
• The male reproductive system is composed of; the testes,
cowpers gland, ductus deferens, epididymis, penis, prostate,
seminal vesical and urethra.
• These components work together for several reasons such as
the production of the male gamete and the substances which
make up semen.
• The role of the male reproductive system is to allow
fertilization to occur by delivering semen into the vagina.
