Classroom management means the way a teacher organizes and controls the
classroom so that teaching and learning can happen smoothly. It includes
setting rules, arranging the classroom, planning activities, and making sure
students behave in a respectful way. Good classroom management helps to
prevent problems and makes sure that lessons run without interruptions
(Evertson & Weinstein, 2013).
The main aim of classroom management is to create a safe, positive, and
focused learning environment where students can learn and teachers can
teach. It is about reducing bad behaviour, increasing student participation, and
making sure every learner feels respected and ready to learn (Marzano, 2003).
