1. This question paper consists of two sections: Section A (25 marks), Section B (75 marks)
and Section C (20 marks).
2. Answer all the questions.
3. Read the questions carefully, taking note of the mark allocations. In general, one mark is
allocated per fact. A two mark question would therefore require two facts, and so on.
4. Answers such as ‘cheaper’, ‘faster / slower’, ‘easier’, etc. will only be accepted if properly
motivated.
5. Draw a 2 cm margin at the right side of your answer sheets.
6. Number the answers according to the numbering system used on this question paper.
7. Leave a blank line after each sub-question.
