D663 EMN2 TASK 2 : Professional Dispositions , Ethics , and
Requirements Insights (Western Governors University).
A. I chose to do the Lesson 3.1 “Accepting Feedback”. While doing
this activity I had the opportunity to demonstrate dispositions of
communication, professionalism and empathy. My colleague
received feedback from her observation evaluation. I got to use this
opportunity to empathize her frustration with getting her evaluation
results back. She began furiously typing out what she was going to
send to her supervisor, principal, program mentor and mentor
teacher. Ahmed and I talked to her and explained it was not a good
idea to send an email to them due to the lack of effective
communication and professionalism. Ahmed and I both helped her
with the next steps to take. She should review the feedback that she
got from the evaluation and use the rubric provided to make sure
she is understanding what should be submitted. We explained to her
that if she’s not understanding what needs to be done then to reach
out to the program mentor for some extra help
