• Using diff tests help teachers see how students are doing
o End of unit tests in math can assess students understanding of
adding/subtracting
o Significant projects in Science might require students to do experiments to
show their understanding of scientific concepts
o Final exams in History could evaluate student knowledge of historical
events and ideas
o Tests and projects in Elementary school to see if students know basic math
or reading
