Recommended Course of Action
To tackle the difficulties identified in the study, Shady Acres Health System (SAHS)
should contemplate implementing a comprehensive strategy that is customized to handle each
individual problem. To enhance the quality of care, SAHS should allocate resources towards
comprehensive staff training programs that specifically target the newest best practices in
specialized areas such as memory care and long-term therapy. In addition, adopting tactics to
improve employee retention, such as providing attractive remuneration packages and opportunities
for professional growth, may promote consistency and efficiency in delivering healthcare services
to patients (Sorn et al., 2023). The integration of an electronic health record (EHR) system may
improve operational efficiencies by simplifying the recording of patient history and coordinating
treatment. This integration also helps reduce the chance of mistakes and communication
breakdowns (Sorn et al., 2023). In addition, SAHS may handle financial difficulties by diversifying
their sources of income and improving their policies for reimbursement. This will ensure they have
the required resources to maintain their excellent care standards.
To solve marketing gaps and employee retention concerns, SAHS should prioritize its
employer branding to demonstrate its dedication to employee well-being and career advancement.
Providing supplementary perks and rewards, such as adaptable work schedules and opportunities
for career advancement, may aid in the recruitment and retention of highly talented personnel in a
fiercely competitive industry (Guest, 2017). Furthermore, cultivating a favorable work
environment and applying tactics to promote employee well-being and mitigate exhaustion may
lead to increased employee contentment and retention rates (Guest, 2017). By applying these
suggested strategies, SAHS may overcome its present obstacles and establish a strong foundation
for long-term expansion while maintaining its commitment to providing outstanding care to its
community.
