Definition- international movement of people animals or goods from one location to another.
There are 4 different types being road,rail air and sea.
Road- transporting either goods and people, for example main road transport is cars, bus
motorcycles and trucks. This can include personal or hire cars, national express coaches or
bee network buses.
Rail- transporting materials on runnings rails , for example trams, trains and monorails. This
can include metrolink trams or virgin atlantic trains.
Air - the fastest mode of public transport which connects international boundaries for example
planes, jets and helicopters. This can include airlines such as Ryanair, Tui, or British airways.
Sea-the movement of goods and or passengers using merchant ships on journeys at sea for
example ships cunard cruises, submarine, ferry, cargo ships. This can include P%O cruises.
