Read the statement below, and answer the question that follows.
“Epistemology is the study or theory of the nature and grounds of knowledge, or in
other words, “epistemology is thinking about thinking” (Auerswald, 1996. P. 1).
Critically comment on this statement, by discussing the modernist and postmodernist
perspectives, the related paradigms and how ecosystemic theory is integrated
theoretically.
In your answer, include a discussion of African epistemology, as it relates to the
different paradigms and ecosystemic theory.
