Wild Bramble was started by a couple named Calla and Alder Wilde who live on a small farm in Vermont
and decided to grow organic food products. They began to bring their products to local farmers
markets, and when people heard about their high-quality products, local restaurants and shops started
to buy and resell their products too, which gave Wilde’s Bramble more pressure to produce more
products, so they leased more farmland to increase production. They needed more power, equipment,
and a new barn so they relied on a credit card. The credit debt piled up at that point, so they took a
mortgage out on their farm. Calla then found a job outside of the farm to help improve the flow of
cash, but unfortunately it was only keeping their heads above water and the problem with the ever-
climbing debt continued to ensue.
