In Nick Capo's article "Teacher" he starts by going through an old chest
with belongings of his dad’s. In this Chest, he finds a notebook that has
statistics and observations of the game of basketball. It was not until Nick
saw the notebook that he understood how much dedication and
compassion his dad had for the game. He goes on to say he now
understands if you want to learn or do something you have to put time
and effort in to perfect your craft. “You sweat and struggle when most
other people aren’t. You practice.” (Capo, n.d.) Now as a college professor,
Nick encourages his students to create good habits and put the work in to
become successful.
