Cell Cycle - The regular pattern of growth, DNA duplication, and cell division that occurs
in eukaryotic cells.

nuclear membrane dissolves. the duplicated DNA condenses around proteins and separates,
and two new nuclei form.
Cytokinesis - The process that divides the cell cytoplasm. The result is two daughter cells
that are genetically identical to the original cell.
Chromosome - One long continuous thread of DNA that consists of numerous genes
along with regulatory information. Our body cells have 46 chromosomes each.
Histones - Protein that organizes chromosomes and around which DNA wraps.
