Keeps the conditions in your body steady.

9. What do Sensory Neurones do?
They carry information as electrical impulses from the receptor to the CNS.

10. What do Motor Neurons do?
They carry electrical impulses from the CNS to effectors.

11. What are Receptors?
Cells that detect stimuli.

12. Give an example of a receptor.
Receptors in the ear detect sound.

13. What do Effectors respond to?
Electrical impulses and bring about a change.

14. Give 2 examples of effectors.
Muscles and glands.

15. What is the process of CNS?
Stimulus -> Receptor -> Sensory Neurone -> CNS -> Motor Neurone -> Effector ->

16. What is a Synapse?
It is where two neurones join together.

Rate of metabolism, heart rate, temperature.

Adrenaline.

28. What is Adrenaline involved in?

Insulin.
