Hello Team,
It is with great excitement and enthusiasm that I write to you about a big development
for our company. As you may remember, we have been working tirelessly to be able distribute
Nasaquil. Today, I am happy to report that we have signed the papers are our company now
owns the exclusive distribution contract! Nasaquil will directly compete with prescription
antiviral medications as an over-the-counter alternative. The CDC estimates that there were
approximately 9 to 41 million flu illnesses between 2010 to 2020, with an estimated 12,000 to
52,000 flu related deaths in the United States. Nasaquil may be able to aid in providing relief to
potentially millions. There will be more information coming, including a kick-off meeting to
discuss in greater detail our strategy, but I wanted to take a moment to go over some benefits
and potential challenges, so you are prepared moving forward.
Benefits and Advantage
Medical trials indicate that Nasaquil may help to lower the severity and duration of Flu
symptoms.
Nasaquil is an over-the-counter medication, meaning people will not longer need to visit
a doctor and get a prescription to alleviate their symptoms.
Challenges and Disadvantages
First, while initial trials do indicate it may help alleviate symptoms, its efficacy has only
been established in small groups over a short period of time. Long term efficacy rates have not
yet been established.
