Mechanics:  Forces and Motion: Understand concepts like uniform acceleration, Newton’s laws, and friction.  Momentum: Study the principle of conservation of momentum, impulse, and the relationship between force and change in momentum.  Circular Motion: Understand centripetal force and acceleration, and how they relate to motion in a circular path.  Work, Energy, and Power: Study the concepts of kinetic energy, gravitational potential energy, and how work is done by a force. 2. Electricity:  Current and Voltage: Know how current, voltage, and resistance relate through Ohm’s Law (V = IR) and understand resistivity.  Capacitance: Study the relationship between charge, capacitance, and voltage (Q = CV) and applications of capacitors in circuits.  RC Circuits: Understand charging and discharging of capacitors, time constant, and how to calculate time for full charge/discharge.  Electric Fields: Learn about electric field strength, potential difference, and the relationship between the two. 3. Waves and Optics:  Wave Properties: Focus on the relationship between wavelength, frequency, speed, and how waves interact (e.g., interference and diffraction).  Refraction and Total Internal Reflection: Understand how light bends as it moves between different mediums, and how total internal reflection works (fiber optics).  Wavefronts and Diffraction: Study the Huygens principle and how diffraction patterns form in slits and gratings. 4. Thermal Physics:  Temperature and Heat: Study the kinetic theory of gases, and how temperature and pressure are related.  Specific Heat Capacity: Understand the concept of heat energy transfer and the formula for calculating energy needed to change temperature (Q = mcΔT).  Latent Heat: Study the energy required for phase changes (e.g., melting, boiling). 5. Nuclear Physics:  Radioactivity: Study the types of radiation (alpha, beta, gamma) and understand concepts like half-life and decay constant.  Nuclear Reactions: Learn about nuclear fission and fusion, and how energy is released in these processes. 6.
