DREAMS
Sometimes when I go to bed angry thinking about the problems, thinking that the next day I
have something important I dream about it. I can say that most of my dreams are based on real-
life either something that happened or something that is going to happen. When I long for
something I dream of it, when I want to change something from the past because I think I could
do it in another way I dream of it. My most impressive dream is when I lived in Cuba, I was 6
years old and I knew that the next day I would see my dad after 3 years without seeing him. I
closed my eyes and my mind only thought about that, I really wanted it to be the next day and
then I fell asleep. That night I dreamed that I was hugging my dad and that he had never left as
if my mind wanted to repair that time without him and at the same time prepare my emotions
for the next day.
Website’s Interpretation of Dream
According to Freud (1900), memory in dreams is somehow connected to the real-life experience
that is reproduced or remembered in dreams. deriving from the relation of the dream to the
waking state, are even more effective in causing us to forget our dreams. Forgetting dreams is
manifested by awakened consciousness. Sleep almost never takes over an orderly series of
memories of the waking state. Two reasons for forgetting dreams y, (1) that the difference
between the general sensation in the sleeping and the waking state is unfavorable to mutual
reproduction, and (2) that the different arrangement of the material in the dream makes the
dream untranslatable, so to speak, for the waking consciousness.
Meaning Behind Dream
Behind that dream are the feelings of anger, anxiety, worry, and excitement and those emotions
are so strong that they stay in the mind causing the experience of real life to be repeated.
