Introduction to Personality Media Analysis
The purpose of this assignment is to get students thinking about how personality
impacts real life behaviors outside the classroom. Using any of the resources you have
available, read, listen to, or watch a short documentary on a specific criminal of your
choice. Ensure the media is factual. When making a choice consider the wide variety
of crimes a person may engage in; violent crime, property crime, white-collar crime,
organized crime, and “victimless” crime.

information you think someone will need to understand who this person is,
consider demographics and psychological data.
Lee Harvey Oswald was born October 18’ 1939 to Robert Edward Lee Oswald &
Marguerite Frances Claverie, in New Orleans, Louisianna in a French hospital. Lee’s
father had died just two months before he was born so he never had a father figure in his
life. Lee was put into an orphanage at the age of three by his mother and she didn’t pick
him up until he was 12 years old. After getting out of the orphanage. Oswald was placed
in juvenile detention at the age of 12 for truancy, during which time he was assessed by a
psychiatrist as "emotionally disturbed", due to a lack of normal family life. After
attending 22 schools in his youth, he quit repeatedly. When he was 16, he joined the
youth air patrol and became a cadet. Finally, when he was 17, joined the Marines. Oswald
became a sharpshooter and was the second highest in his class. Later sent to Japan where
they housed the U2 plane which was known to be a CIA spy plane. While at the base in
Japan Oswald had access to all sorts of important secret military information. Oswald
