Fairclough Model———-

✅Critical discourse analysis:

Critical discourse analysis (Fairclough, 1989:109), is a three-step
analysis that consists of textual analysis, the production,
consumption and distribution of the text called interaction, and
the interpretation of text in its social context which is called
contextual analysis.
Or
CDA is fundamentally interested in analyzing opaque as well as
transparent structural relationships of dominance, discrimination,
power, and control when these are manifested in language. In
other words,CDA aims to investigate critically social inequality as
it is expressed, constituted, and legitimized by language
use. (Wodak,2006)
