based on education, experience & examination but chose to relinquish/
not renew license
Engineer Intern - ANSWER Duly licensed as an engineer intern
Practice of Engineering - ANSWER Service/creative work requiring
engineering education, training & experience in the application of
engineering principles & interpretation of data to engineering activities
that potentially impact health, safety, & public welfare
Inactive status - ANSWER Not engaged in engineering practice that
requires licensure in this jurisdiction may be granted inactive status. No
licensee granted inactive status may practice or offer to practice
engineering in this jurisdiction unless otherwise exempted in this act
licensees granted inactive status are exempt from continuing education
requirements.
, Professional Surveyor - ANSWER Duly licensed as professional
surveyor; has all relevant requirements to survey real property &
engaged in practice of surveying
Professional Surveyor - ANSWER Duly licensed as professional
surveyor; has all relevant requirements to survey real property &
engaged in practice of surveying but chose to relinquish/ chose to not
renew
Survey Intern - ANSWER Duly certified as a surveyor intern
Board - ANSWER Jurisdiction board of licensure for professional
engineer & professional surveyors, herein after provided by this act
Jurisdiction - ANSWER Shall mean a state, D.C., any territory,
commonwealth, or possession of the U.S. that issues licenses to a
practice & regulates the practice of engineering/surveying within its legal
boundaries
Responsible Charge - ANSWER Direct control & personal supervision
of engineering or surveying work as the case may be
Firm - ANSWER Any firm or business entity other than an individual
operating as a sole proprietorship under his or her name
Managing Agent - ANSWER Licensed under Model Law 110.20 & has
been designated pursuant to section 160.20 of this act by the firm
Rules - ANSWER Rules & regulations adopted by pursuant to section
120.60 A
Signature - ANSWER In accordance with the rules
Seal - ANSWER Symbol, image, or list of information in accordance
with the rules
Licensee - ANSWER A professional engineer or professional surveyor
