Complaint: Pain in testicles
Chief Complaint
, Severe pain in the right testicle described as "sharp and
constant."
History of Present Illness
Onset: The pain had a sudden onset while playing soccer in
school.
Location: The pain is located on the right side of the scrotum.
Duration: The pain has persisted since the beginning.
Character: The pain described is sharp, worse with movement,
and somewhat better with rest.
Associating Symptoms: No fever is reported, but it includes mild
nausea.
Factors that Precipitate Pain: Physical movement or manipulation
of the area.
Factors Relieving the Pain: Simple resting and elevating provide
very little relief.
Past Medical History
History: Has not experienced any previous episodes of testicular
pain; otherwise healthy, active
Surgical History: Nil
Injury History: Trauma is denied, and also no infections within the
recent period.
