One is traditional method of scoring in which only the server(in singles) or serving team(in doubles) can score points. These games are played to 15 points, win by 2 points. Second scoring method became new in 2006 and is called "Rally Point" or "Quick Point" whichever player wins the serve or rally scores the points, regardless of who served. That person or team becomes the server or serving team. In the rally point scoring system, games are played to 21 points with a required two point difference to determine the winner. As a result, games could go longer than 21 points.
