To begin, I was very surprised at how the case played out. Generally, I believe it is
completely unfortunate of those who attempt to commit sexual assault or harm to others, be little
the consent of others and try to play it off. Unfortunately, In this case, the person who committed
assault under the influence made it seem as if the other individual had full voluntary/conscious
consent. The case was about a girl named Emily Doe that was sexually assaulted by a guy named
Brock Turner in a Fraternity party. It turned out to be sexual assault by the fact that these two
individuals were under the influence. It is determined and scientifically proven that when under
the influence you never have full consent or you are not in the right state of mind to make a
choice thoroughly. Speaking in regards to Turner, our transparency assumption of Turner began
to be seemingly innocent at first. Turner had assumed that the girl was totally okay with anything
that went down. I believe that what had helped Turner to begin with is that he was part of the
swimming team and was a freshman. Reality speaking, a student who is freshly in college and is
participating within a sport seems like a person who would not carry bad intentions within
themselves because life-wise they seem as they care about what others perceive or think about
themselves.
Alcohol is very unfortunate and the way it can affect those who consume it. When people
consume alcohol we tend to feel more vulnerable and become realistic. We lose the sense of
shyness or uncomfortableness and tend to expose ourselves in ways of anger, sadness, and etc.
When interacting with others under the influence, it can always depend on the person, you will
act differently or lose control. For example, in this case, Turner was not able to hold himself
