Why do you think that the stress response is associated with
flight/fight responses?
Answer/s:
Some stressors are associated with needing to take action for example if we
are threatened – the fight or flight response mobilises the bodies resources
so that we are able to do this by either confronting the source of stress or
running away from it. However this response is often not appropriate for
many modern stressors.

Why do we need high levels of glucose when we are faced with
a stressor?
Answer/s:
High levels of glucose are needed to increase the rate of respiration in cells
– so more energy is produced to enable the actions of fight or flight.

Threat may come from news items or local incidents seen, the feed has only
some degree of control over what is seen, fear of missing out could arise

situations more negatively.
