Overview
In order to consider the support networks, behavioral health, and general well-being of
the Jordan City community, a windshield survey was completed. This method also entailed
consultation of doctors, nurses, households, and the public and involved coordination of
academics, community leaders, and medical specialists.
Key Findings
General Conditions and Public Health Needs
Community Facilities: The attractions in Jordan City include the churches, medical
facilities, schools and business premises. Some of these are Jordan City Hall, Jordan
Middle and High School, St. Francis Health Services, and the Jordan Community and
Recreation Center.
Behavioral Health: Further expansion is needed regarding institutions specializing in
psychological disorders, which underlines the necessity of new behavioral health
facilities in addition to essential services offered by St. Francis Health Services.
Infrastructure and Environment: Some of the complementary amenities in the city
include healthy parks, recreational areas, and social associations for the people to interact
and exercise. However, the transportation system, although limited to a specific area,
needs to be developed to get access to other remote places.
Environmental and Health Analysis
Medical Services: Jordan City has primary care physicians but it lacks specialised
medical professionals such as psychiatrists. Solutions like telemedicine and shifting focus
to domestic healthcare providers are being applied to fill this void.
