The purpose of this memo is to describe the current and proposed pricing changes for
Envistum Communications. The following sections will describe Envistum Communications'
offering, the company's existing pricing structure, two newly proposed pricing techniques, and the
short and long-term demand impact of the proposed pricing techniques.
Service Offering
Envistum Communications is a communications service provider that was founded in 2006
and has its corporate headquarters in Chicago, Illinois. Envistum's main goal is to innovate and
evolve the technologies of the modern connected world to transform the human communication
experience. To succeed in the new digital era, the company must leverage its knowledge and
expertise to help Communication Service Providers (CSPs) implement 5G networks as platform-
enabling technologies for the development of Smart Cities and the Internet of Things. The
organization is diversifying its portfolio and moving toward products that provide the scalability,
coverage, availability, and security CSPs needed to support high-speed, high-capacity network
requirements. Envistum offers services for network planning and optimization, system integration,
and best-in-class security solutions tailored for the telecommunication industry.
Huawei, our primary competitor, is also researching and working toward 5G architectures.
The Chinese conglomerate is partnering with major companies, like British Telecommunications,
Deutsche Telekom, and China Mobile, to conduct joint research and development activities to
maximize the potential of 5G offerings to their customers. In the "Everything on Mobile" era as
Huawei defined, the company shares the vision of how the telecommunications industry continues to
evolve and end-users ' reliance on wireless network communications.
