What were the most important concepts you learned in week 1?
Why were these concepts important?
How will they prepare you for your future role as a master's prepared nurse?
Hello Everyone,
First of all, it was nice getting to know everyone this week a little bit better!
The most important things I have learned this week were really how to navigate through
the online class and really find the tools that can help us when we need them. Also, I didn't
realize how much I needed to brush up on my APA formatting so being able to have the sources
available to me was really important in helping me with our first discussion post! I know this is
important because we are going to become really familiar with APA throughout our journey!
The biggest take away from the readings this week and from the articles I found when
doing my discussion post, was how important continuing our education is. Having a master's
degree in an advanced practice role is really going to be so beneficial, especially now knowing
how much demand and little supply there is for APR's. I was really surprised in the reading that
we don't have as much of a supply that the demand allows. This is so important because the more
supply we have, the more people we can efficiently help! I feel humbled to be able to be able to
advance my degree knowing I will be able to help so many people as we move forward!
