,Introduction
In this assignment, I will be researching on the different platforms, this includes an idea of
what the project actually will be. To prepare for the project I will be discussing and
researching from the internet, social media sites, and application based servers. This will be
used to get a better understanding of the project based on the designing and production
processes. After the research has been completed, we will be starting to make designs
based on the project idea. We will need to find two different ideas for our project. After I
have completed, decided and maintained the decision for the project, we will begin to start
implementing the ideas through the use of the design process. After all of the decisions
have been made an feasibility report including all of necessary information such as cost,
benefits and viability of the project will be notified. We will also be setting as many targets
and deadlines as possible throughout the project, this would mean that all of the work can
be completed according to time. The budget will be given to us by our clients. We will be
using Microsoft Excel 2019, to be able to log all of the issues faced through the process of
the project.

To conclude, with it we will also be performing a project management process that includes
the project initiation, project planning, project execution and the project closing stage.
Lastly, we will then be evaluating effectiveness of how we have performed the entire
process of the project management, this will include taking into consideration what we have
gained and learned during this project (knowledge). We will also be discussing the things
we might have done effectively and any improvements that would need to be made to be
perfect and be successful in the project ensuring the clients are satisfied and meet their
expectations.



Research idea
The research idea that we have decided together is an idea for a software application. In
order to gain a better understanding and gain as much information as we require in order to
make the app we have used things like the internet, youtube, social media and libraries. In
the first instance, we had come up with an idea of the app that we would be producing,
focusing on areas such as where the problem had occurred and what could have been done
in order to solve the problem. The problem that was identified was that the clients found that
it was extremely difficult and annoying for all of the different offers and discounted clothes or
general things to be purchased. To reduce human effort, we decided that it will be much
easier for all the types of users to have all the things in one app and Icalled it ShopEase
Hub. This will allow for much easier navigation and all the items will be available in this one
app rather than having to navigate to separate apps or websites to see different sales or
offers.

We used the internet and social media as inspiration for our app, within this we had multiple
meetings with the group this is so that we can decide and confirm as a group for the names
and things we would like to implement in the app, such as the name for the app, logo, the

, type of the app and what we would be including in the app, such as navigational features
and different portals for both the employees and the costumer’s using the application. We
had a look at sample applications such as “ebay” and “depop” and decided that we should
be going for a similar type of app with extremely similar functionality, and features. In order
to maintain a balanced judgement, we also had a meeting on 25/01/2024 to discuss which
software/ app would be a better idea rather than the one we have chosen. Later, we did
some research on the two apps that we got our inspiration from “ebay” and “depop” and
how they got their innovation ideas and how they got the inspiration for what they did. In
terms of the design, we created sample design templates to see which ones were of better
use and which design we should be including in our application and website that will be
produced at a later date.

We used online resources, “library models” to check how the app should be created
including its interior and exterior designs. Another research that wasn’t part of the plan that
was helpful was social media, we were scrolling through and all these advertisements
popped up and it helped inspire our app and it also helped us to think of maybe using social
media to spread awareness and promote our products. In addition, while doing the research
we also found several apps, app builder being one of the most common ones. In addition,
an improvement that will be justified into the implementation includes having social media
as it will help us to spread awareness and promote the app for the business.
