How does viewing a school in this way enhance our understanding of its functioning?
The concept of the school as a system/organization refers to seeing a school as a complex entity with
interconnected parts that work together to achieve common goals. This perspective emphasizes the
interdependence of various components within the school, such as teachers, students, administrators,
curriculum, facilities, and resources, and how they all contribute to the overall functioning of the school.
Viewing a school in this way enhances our understanding of its functioning by allowing us to see the
bigger picture and how different parts of the school are interconnected. It helps us recognize the
importance of collaboration and communication among all stakeholders within the school to ensure its
smooth operation. By understanding the school as a system/organization, we can also identify areas for
