A quote bank which can be utilised for A-Level English Literature examinations. The document features quotations from Henrik Ibsen's A Doll's House, each of which are easily memorisable and easy to expand upon when utilised within the exam paper. The quote bank is separated into several themes which are as follows; gender roles, family and motherhood, responsibility, reputation, and society, truth and disguise, death, freedom and control, love and marriage, and, finally, wealth. The quote bank also lists several extended metaphors used throughout A Dolls House. These rest upon the themes of light, clothes and becoming 'undone', time, miracles, and the Tarantella. The quote bank features quotations from all the characters, namely Torvald and Nora.
