The factors I would consider when setting an assessment task for grade 5 life skills
learners are alignment with Curriculum Standards , I will ensure that the task aligns
with the curriculum objectives and learning outcomes. It should assess the specific
skills and knowledge outlined in the curriculum. Secondly, l will considers individual
learning styles and needs of students since they have diverse learning preferences. I
will design tasks that accommodate visual, auditory, and kinesthetic learners. Also,
consider any specific learning needs or accommodations. Also, I will make the
assessment task relatable to practical life scenarios. This helps students see the
value and applicability of the skills they are learning. Lastly, I will consider the
cognitive, emotional, and social development of grade 5 students. The task should
align with their abilities and maturity level.
