encouraged to engage in a "secondary" task where they use skills specific to their discipline
to address an issue related to teen girls.
Challenge: A course based in this type of model places the majority of the responsibility for
placement on the students' shoulders. In addition, when they graduate and leave, the
students take the valuable knowledge learned/gained with them, thus leaving the community
agency as a loss.
