transactions provisions in the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act (ECTA) 25 of

more secure legal environment for electronic transactions and electronic
commerce.3
• It also aims at enhancing regional integration and has implemented the best
practices and collective efforts of member states to address the legal aspects of e-
transactions and e-commerce.
