Why do you want to work at publix? - Answer-I want to work for publix because I've heard amazing things about the company and how it's a great, happy place to work, with lots of room for moving up in the company. I also visit the publix in Winston from time to time and everytime I go there I always feel welcomed and I always receive excellent customer service. What do you know about publix? - Answer-Publix was founded in 1930 by George Jenkins in New Haven, FL. . and is the largest and fastest growing employee-owned Super Market chain in the United States. Publix mission statement is to be the premier quality food retailer in the world. Publix currently employ over 187,500 people.Publix is a Fortune 500 company with more than 1000 stores. Publix also received numerous awards for being a great place to work and shop such as being ranked #3 for best job security by indeed in 2017, also being selected as one of America's best supermarkets by in 2016. Give an example of a time that you went above and beyond - Answer- What is your greatest strength? - Answer-I consider myself as a people's person I love assisting people and helping them out whenever I can, I'm even good at going up to strangers and starting a conversation that's one of the things that attracted me to this position in the first place, I know how much you guys value customer service & team work and I think I can really add something to your team What is your greatest weakness? - Answer-I have learned that I tend to focus on the very small things that I can improve rather than focusing on the bigger picture. I need to focus more on the entire plan rather than the individual pieces. How would you handle an angry customer? - Answer-I have had my fair share of dissatisfied customers and am not shy when it comes to dispute resolution. I find that really listening to customers is almost always enough when it comes to diffusing a situation. They want to be heard and feel acknowledged.
