Title Organisational Level
Health & Safety training programme
The main objectives of the Health & Safety programme in the organisational level are that at
the end of the training programme, the employees should be able to conduct risk assessment
Objectives of the building and assess all the possible hazards at the workplace.
The other main objective is at the end of the training, the employees should be able to know
how to check the fire extinguishers.
The last objectives of the training programme is to ensure that at the end, all the employees
will understand the Health & Safety at work act 1974.
Trainer The trainer will be external and they will be qualified in Health & Safety services.
Location The location of the training will be in the company building.
Date and time The Health & Safety training will be on 12 th March 2018, it will start at 12pm until 3 pm. During
this time the trainees will go through PowerPoint presentation, practical exercise, quiz and 30
minutes break time.
Number of The number of trainees will be 10 people.

To evaluate the effectiveness of the training programme, I would use questionnaire to get
feedback from the employees who participated in the training, so they tell if the training was
useful and what they have gained from it, in order for me to see if the training was successful
and what improvements will be needed.
Delivering the Health & Safety programme will include few different methods.
1. PowerPoint presentation

delivery 3.Practical exercise.
1. During the PowerPoint presentation, trainees will listen and take notes.
2. In the video they will clearly see how risk assessments should be conducted and will

3. In the practical exercise the trainees will go around the building and check the fire
extinguisher and ensure they understand how to use them.
The materials needed for the training programme would be computer and projector for the
PowerPoint presentation,
Materials needed extinguishers for the practical exercise,
Paper, pens and handouts for the quiz.
Budget The budget for the food and drinks will be around £60. Hiring external qualified trainer will cost
£200.
