recommendations as to how marketing strategies should be adapted to
accommodate research findings
Introduction
In this task it would be analysed the research findings and make recommendations
on how marketing strategies could be adapted or implemented.
The topic of my market research was to gather information about customers
satisfaction in regard to cocktails therefore to find out who drinks more cocktails men
or women.So that i have designed a questionnaire in order to find out how many
women and men drinks cocktails from Black Horse pub by asking Uxbridge college
students so that based on there answers to creates figures that would answer the
main question.Overall i had produced 20 copies of the same questionnaire that was
created of 10 main and straightforward questions that were distributed to 20 random
individuals .As a result after collecting all the questionnaires it gives me an result of
the main question that i further investigated and created the final findings.
Furthermore i found useful using primary and secondary research as it helps into
gathering important data about the popularity of cocktails through the genders.
Research methods that were used
In order to receive as much quantitative and qualitative data as possible i have used
both primary and secondary research methods towards my market
research.Therefore the primary research method used were through quascionarrie
and the secondary research method used through the internet sources and
government statistics.
As a result the main reason of using a questionnaire is because this type of primary
research allows to find out a lot of information that were needed in order to find out
who drinks more cocktails between men and women and make future improvements
in the strategies of the business that is linked with pricing and advertising.Therefore
by addressing the question ‘’how much would you pay for a cocktail’’ this allowed me
to know and then to inform the Black Horse Pub representatives about their
customers preferences in regard of the prices of the cocktails in order to reduce or
rather increase their cocktails prices so that to meet with their market wants which
would further boost up their profit and bring in new customers .
The main reason why i have used the internet and the government statistics as my
secondary research method is because the Internet allowed me to find out a lot of
useful information about cocktails and which one sells the most and which one is the
most prefered by men/women,Therefore when doing secondary research i found out
that the most known and drunk cocktails by both men and women are Mojito , old
