The student will identify the human factors that contribute to law enforcement driving collisions. - The stress endured during pursuit can greatly affect an officer's risk-taking decisions. Attitudes and emotions become significant factors. Prejudice and bias are specific types of attitudes usually based on emotional factors: Psychological Factors: our emotions, high risk attitudes, overconfidence in driving capabilities.
