Uber is a prime example of the gig economy, where workers are independent contractors with contracts
with the company that give them the freedom to conduct business activities as it suits them. However,
in recent years, it has been determined that this element of flexibility in Uber appears to be discouraging
and harmful for the company and its drivers for a variety of reasons which will be discussed in this study.
